Empowering communities through free life-saving education and rare disease advocacy
Save A Life Initiative was founded on a deeply personal mission. In 2001, founder Shae Freeman lost her beloved grandmother to sudden cardiac arrest. This devastating loss revealed a harsh truth: many people want to help in emergencies but lack the knowledge and confidence to act.
That tragedy became the catalyst for change. Determined to honor her grandmother's memory and prevent other families from experiencing similar loss, Shae committed herself to ensuring that everyone, regardless of income or background, has access to life-saving education.
Today, Save A Life Initiative stands as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to two critical missions: providing free emergency preparedness training to underserved communities and raising awareness about rare diseases that often go unrecognized until it's too late.
The Save A Life Initiative exists to expand access to lifesaving education, training, and resources, empowering individuals and communities to respond confidently in emergencies and save lives.
A world where no one dies from a preventable emergency because bystanders didn't know how to help. A world where rare disease patients receive timely diagnoses and compassionate care. A world where every community is prepared, informed, and empowered to save lives.
